Telling a parent "I don't know how you do it!" Is not helpful! It does nothing to build that parent up and it actually undermines the relationship between the child and their parent. It gives a parent the opening to feel pity for their situation. It waters the seeds of doubt in the parent's mind. If the child overhears the remark it binds them to bad behavior. What should you say? Try:
You're doing a great job.
You show so much patience.
I like how you handle.....
You have been given a great task and your love and hardwork will pay off! You'll see!
